Formation's laboratory is a place of work for dancers, actors, choreographer and theater directors in formation.
This year, Formation's Laboratory will be Experimental Dance with the title Corporal Conscience, Consequence Composition will be directed by the prestigious choreographer and pioneer pedagogue of the experimental dance in Guadalajara, Paloma Martinez.
This Laboratory is directed to choreographers, stage managers, actors and professional dancers, semi-professionals all the people interested with previous workout in theater or dance.

PALOMA MARTINEZ PROPOSAL
Experimental dance: Corporal Conscience, Composition Consequence. Like any act that produces the creation, the personal requirement is a constant discovery of oneself, and we dedicated very little time; Opening toward the quest allows having a great disposition to eliminate resistances provoked by the physic and psychic organism that obstruct the creative process. The experimental dance is an alternative for the creation of an own language for such motive, backed up in the concepts universally known by all the arts (space, time, form, contents ).
There is room for analysis, observation, reflection without a doubt in this process but most of all, the commitment with workshop objective: developing the corporal conscience, extending to the object, to the sound, to the space, and the composition that emerges consequently.

PALOMA MARTINEZ
Her formation includes different kind of dance like the classical ballet, contemporary, folkloric and various corporal and theatrical techniques. She was in the Amalia Hernandez's Folkloric Ballet and she was grant holder in New York in the Nikolais and Murria Louis School. In the experimental and contemporary dance, she has found the way to develop her own language. Her accomplish interdisciplinary plays with artists of the local midway and her work like improvisation teacher and collective composition have contributed in kind to conform her own style that shows in her works. She has worked in various teaching institutions, cultural centers and independent groups like ITESO, Cultural Institute Cabañas, University of Colima and like choreographer in the Gineceo Company Guadalajara's University. Invited guest to Macau's Wacfest Chinese. She has been grant holder for the State Fund for Culture and Jalisco's Arts (1992) and CECA ( 2005 ) to accomplish her choreographic work "Apariciones". Her outstanding works, where she is performer too are: "The night that never finishes", "Mayahuel", "The ones that dream" and "Dara Dansha".
